Nixon Park is the premiere park in Hartland. Super well maintained, a large variety of amenities for just about everyone including baseball, tennis, playground, splash pad (Memorial Day to Labor Day), pond that is fishable, and multiple picnic areas with shelters and public grills. Also have live music playing in summer on the weekends on the permanent stage. GREAT PLACE!
Very peaceful with great landscape, pond and small river. My son loves it, run wild and play.
Take your kids to this great park for both a normal playground trip or spend a few hours at the splash pad. You can't go wrong either way. The splash pad is perfect for the littlest of little ones since there is no standing water. Walk along river and take in the beauty of this park.
Fun in the summer! Water pad/park is a great activity for kids. The stream has surprisingly good fishing for kids. Music and beer garden in summer is a great time.
Nice place to bring kids. Has a pond for fishing, playground for the kids, music amphitheater, splash pad (open from Memorial Day to Labor Day), picnic tables and grills.
